XBOX gamers, just another identity in our split personality universe?

There's a lot of game / role play based around the idea of claiming systems and factions as their own and quite a lot of those groups like to play in open. When they see something happening to "their" systems (changes in influence, causing expansion and all the states that there are) and there's no-one there to be seen, it's usually time to bring out the reddit and shout out against their coward enemies, that are undermining them in solo or private group play.

From what I read so far, Xbox players will partake in the universe, but not see PC & Mac players, appearing to them just like solo or private group players.

There's nothing stopping a group of active Xbox players to form their own groups and claim systems and factions as their own. And why would there be? They don't need this forum or reddit to communicate and don't need to respect any treaties or alliances that anyone holds dear, they can play and communicate where- and however they like. But they might be just as annoyed by someone messing with their claimed systems and factions as the PC and Mac folk are. And power play even complicates it.

Frontier calls it a shared universe - something to strive for.

I call it a mental illness that should be treated as such and somehow resolved.

And yes, I mean for all four of the personalities - Solo, Private Group, OpenMacPC and OpenXbox.

Pretty much, once a lot of Xbox users get in on powerplay the stupid things that are happening like an 8cc sytem for Aisling being prepared to a ridiculous amount is just going to happen more and more. It'll be worst in the powers closest to the start system because there'll probably be a lot that can't be bothered to travel all the way to pledge to the further out powers.

It may look stupid, but it may be on purpose. But with the split universe there's no way to catch the commanders doing it and question them - let alone stop it.
