If anyone wonders how you can play Elite with a proper HOTAS on XBOX, check this out:

Unfortunately, you would need at least 1 time a PC to configure inputs & load the script.
I still have hopes that one time we have a plug´n play solution, but for now, this was the easiest thing to come up with.
