XBOX One: CQC needs Bots that replace with people as they enter. No one is playing because of forcing us to wait

Speaking for XBOX One version:


Frontier, please stop forcing us to sit in a lobby that only has two people in it. Why are you forcing us to wait? (Especially, when you guys know yourselves, no one is really playing this mode because of the waiting aspect)

Fill it with bots, even if only one person is in the lobby - fill it with bots and start the match. Then, as people enter the match they replace the bots.

This way CQC mode will stay being played vs. people spending more time sitting in the lobby *waiting to play* Right now everybody leaves because they tire of waiting - I can't even enjoy the game mode.

It's preposterous forcing us to sit in a gaming lobby for over 20/30 minutes waiting for it to fill up. That's insane. I actually waited it out before typing this up. Twice, during two seperate time zones. Evening and Daytime. I waited 30min both times before deciding to leave.

I apologize if I'm coming across disrespectful. But this is highly annoying. You guys should had caught this early on and fixed it. Because of this, no one wants to play CQC and I know you guys are aware that people are retiring the mode due to this problem - so fix it please.

Coming from someone who generally enjoys PVE more, would be a nice idea for PC too (I don't like ruining other people's experience of playing so fighting bots is more acceptable for me, that is if they are not sentient :p no enslaving artificial minds please Frontier ).

I see no harm if needing NPCs for it to be as easy to balance out as PLAYERS vs NPC mode. This way there will never be any waiting at all. Plus you could then make this COOP Mode have loads of amazing intricate Missions e.g. stop the T9 landing at a platform/dock being escorted by fighters (so you have an even bigger target objective and tactics) / Swap roles and defend the T9! / etc. use your imagination here...(create gameplay)

Pretty much agree OP, I would love to play CQC in solo against bots even the best opponent will always be a human one, purely because of their unpredictability. :)
