Would just like to say that hyperspace/frameshift jump/witchspace animation looks different to me, and by different I mean lovely. I didn't have a problem with it before, but now it feels a lot more exciting. Better feels like I'm blasting through a tunnel in space.

Maybe worth noting that this update also fixed a bunch of achievements I unlocked previously but have now just been awarded. Lol, not sure that was intended or not!

Does anyone still play this on XB1? I play online, not a ship but npcs, cqc... can't get a match cause no one is online...

I see a ton of CMDRs in Open play. it may seem a bit sparse but thats because we are still in the Preview. The game doesnt get released to the general public (non preview members) Until October 6th I believe. After that blast away at newbies in CQC fellow commander.

Good work on ED guys. As a lifelong fan and player of the original Elite back in the 80's this is great. But the last update you did has made some noticeable, and frankly, awful screen tear on the Xbox One version. Please - fix this!!! It makes the game look unpolished and horrible.

Ok Frontier you just killed this game with the auto throttle after hyperdrive!! Every time I come in front of a white hot with my Type 9 there is NOTHING! I can do to get out of the way of it. I have payed out about 100k cr in repairs just doing my trade routes when I shouldn't be paying out any.

Throttle down while you're IN hyperspace. The indicator doesnt show it, but when you drop out, you'll be at 30km/s as usual. I actually prefer it this way now, having used it for a few days

I cannot connect to the Frontier servers since the last update. Please help. The version I have is 5.2 gig in size not 4.6. What do I need to do... Thanks, Pete

I bet you are running your XBOX One in Quick Start mode and your operating system is ganked. Change your power mode to Energy Saver and then do a full power down. Let he box sit for a minute or two and restart from total power off. After that DO NOT change back to Quick Start. That setting is notorious for causing issues with many games because the XB1 OS can become unstable over time and start doing odd things. Since the console NEVER reboots in that mode, only sleeps, you could have an OS running off the same boot for weeks or even months and years!

Not a good mode for ED!

No didn't work keeps crashing when I try to mine. And when I started the xbox no update just right in to the game. I am really starting to get sick of this.
