Xbox one Standard Controller bindings?

Does anyone have a custom controller setup for the xbox one controller, not the elite one. I don't have the money for a HOTAS so I have to work with what I have. But I feel like I am not being efficient with what I have. Could anyone help out any?

That would be awesome, getting into pvp some with my squadron. But I am realizing that I have to manually flip through menu's to toggle things and find certain things in the middle of combat, or in the middle of exploring. Would be nice to be a bit faster with it.

Map your lateral thrusters to the stick clicks so you can move side to side.

You’ll lose alternate flight control toggle, but you won’t need that anymore. Headlook goes too, but you can map it elsewhere if you insist on having it.

It’s one of the least complicated ways to map lats, and you don’t lose anything super important. This makes docking easier, and allows you to dodge incoming fire more effectively.

These are all of my controls with every sub-menu expanded even if I don't use them. There are some things I don't have which you probably want, such as fighter orders and select highest threat. I think the controls are pretty much spot on for the galaxy map, external camera, FSS and so on. The alternate controls are specifically for landing.

Spoiler because huge images.

I combined your suggestion with Bongo's controls, moved headlook to the open A+RB.
