The RE2 remake is outstanding. I love the original PS version, but this one rocks.....looking at the RE2 remake, but also fancy Call of Cthulhu. Both games have been on my watch list for a while. Anyone out there in Forumland tried either of these horrors?![]()
Alien Isolation looks very scary. Not sure I want to play a game where you can't shoot the monster tho!I loved Resident Evil 1&2. The originals, with the worst voice acting I've ever heard. Lol
As for horror games in general, I haven't actually played anything remotely creepy since Fear, and Silent Hill 1... Dead Space was good, but wasn't actually scary.
Prey was interesting, especially because I played about half the game before finding the flashlight button.
But still not a horror.
But no, I can't think of anything recent that's actually a good survival horror.
I'd be up for any recommendations!
Walking simulator experience?Have you played SOMA yet? It's a good walking simulator experience.
It's not combat oriented. There are some stealth and running-away sections (because it is or maybe was a one-trick developer after all), but most of the time it's about experiencing the environment.Walking simulator experience?

Don't you mean even more angry? It's already pretty annoyed!Well you can shoot it, just makes it angry. Traps and distractions can get it to go away for a bit.
