Xbox to PC transfer.

I have A LOT of hours on Xbox version. I've achieved triple elite, got to King/Admiral ranks, leveled most engineers to max rank, you get the idea. I don't play on Xbox anymore and got a PC and kind of itching to play again.
I know there is a transfer feature but it's only for wealth. If I can't transfer my commander and all the progress it's kind of meaningless. Do you guys think I should still transfer or maybe there is a chance that they'll let us transfer commanders too at some point? I'm having a really hard time letting go, and deleting, of all that progress, even if I don't play on xbox anymore.

a few years ago I swapped from xbox to PC and like you said you can only take your money with you, no rank or anything else worthwhile.

heading said that it was definitely worth starting the game over again with all of my money.
When is the last time you saw a helpless clipper fully kitted out?

Since you have already played on xbox, you know what to expect.
If you begin again on PC it won't take you very long to reacquire your ranks.

The only real downside is that you won't get all of your credit back from your ships if you don't sell them first.
