XCOM2: how is it?

Hidy ho all,

I've been playing dragon age 2 recently, but its just not scratching my tactical itch like its predicessor. So I wanted to find a game, to do just that. I was looking into Xcom 2, but every opinion I get is split down the middle some say its great and I should buy it now, others say wait till its on sale.

So I'm asking here: Is it worth the 60 bucks they're asking? Or should I hold back a bit, and look elseware?

If you like "chess-like" turn-based squad games, XCOM2 is an excellent, endlessly entertaining game. Its well worth the time. Its only downside is the missions with timers (there are a lot of them) which go against the strategic thinking nature of the game, but you can alleviate the issue with mods.


ps: Forget DA2, go for DA Inquisition which is incredible. Although, the first still has the better story.

See now, to me, that just sounds like a good time. Some rage, sure, but a good time none the less.

So why are folks saying to avoid it till its on sale?

Edit: trying to beat DA2, so I have a save to import into DA:I. No other reason
