Interestingly, this may offer pilots the chance for a brief corridor dash to the Pleiades nebula, where the first Thargoid barnacle sites were discovered. Regional points of interest there include the Squirrel's Nest Bar, one of the first CQC inspired outposts ships can race through (while occasionally battling NPC pirates), Professor Palin's old site on Maia A3A, the older Thargoid Surface Sites just outside humanity's settled systems, and the neighboring T Tauri Mine, former front operation of what's now Azimuth Biochemicals' home operations.
The Pleiades systems that are still active still have tourist beacons, and the corridor also clears the way to the Witch Head and California nebulae.
