XYZ Move Tool

Trying to place a building next to a grid perfectly is a bit difficult with the move tool. I was thinking of having a few separate buttons to drag the building in all X, Y and Z directions as well as a rotation tool. With picking the building up using the mouse a third option.

Maybe even having a Scale gizmo for single selected objects.

+1
certainly need this included with a few snapping options
snap to grid
snap to object
snap to axis
snap to height or position level

Already asked in the Alpha Feedback but ... Big +1

Move Rotate and Scale is a must.
We need really a "3D Gizmo" !!! [yesnod][up]

I definitely agree with the scaling of objects, scenery or any other editable item. Could even work as a template for flooring such as plaza's.

Free form rescaling would be great but In addition it would be good to have a snap to "scale" so you could resize pieces (or a set of pieces) in set increments. 1.5 scale, double scale, half scale etc. Would help to keep buildings simple to build if people wanted to duplicate sections.

Good point. But most modeling programs I know simply allow you to type in the exact scale factor you want once the scale command has been activated. So, you can either drag to the scale that looks right or key in the exact figure. An added bonus of keying in the scale factor could be typing '-1' to invert (or 'mirror') the object along a specific axis. I don't see a lot of people mention the ability to mirror objects but I think it's pretty important to get the most use out of asymmetrical objects.

I guess the "mirror" option is implicit in the "scale" tool, but ... yes ... Indeed.

We definitely also need a "prop moving" and "world moving" function so when we rotate an object the axes is which it moves in can either remain the same or rotate with the object. I always rotate an object to a 45 degree angle then when I want to move it again I have to move it up and down and up and down to get it to go it a straight line. You can see what I am talking about on this Planet Coaster video : https://youtu.be/Hh2bvRLXuUM?t=1m35s

EDIT: Make sure you skip to 1:35 in the video specifically.
