YAY!!!! I'M FINALLY BACK HOME!!! !!!

Thank you so very much to all of you for such a warm welcoming!

I had to pretty much dock, post in forum and head out to work yesterday so couldn't really follow up with thread! LOL..

But hey, I had to work in an event where I met CMDR Red Barron in person!! It was amazing to meet someone from the game in RL!! We had a blast!

The plague is more of a reason for not returnig to the bubble but congrats on your achievement :)

Well, you'd think so! Point is that ELEU and SANTJALAN are my home systems, way, way before all of these happened, in fact, since January. A war was already undergoing when the plague hit. So yes, in my case it meant: "come back already and fight these guys off!"

Didn't workout as intended but hey, it was fun to run an inverse Buckyball race! lol!

Leave the exclamation marks out there next time ;)

Welcome back and glad you made it the full distance... and you wimp for not trying a big station the first time ;)

p.s. !

LOL!!! See, I called it when I left! Cause I like my scientific outpost that looks so shiny, so pretty, so Apple!...

So, stop being jealous on my taste and I regret you chose going for those big ones with the mail slot!! !!! !!!! !!!!!!!!!!!!!!! <-intended. every one of them!

;)

Congratulations in advance, Kancro! Hope your iron click finger can endure the upload process ;) looking forward to hearing the results, and seeing the pictures. Need something to celebrate after all this Cerberus devastation and death.

So much information gathered indeed! It will take me weeks to sort through it, but I hope to be able to sell it rather quickly!!

I have so much to value data, for so many threads in the forum that I don't know where I'm going to start!! LOL...

Welcome back. You just missed me leaving ;)

Godspeed CMDR!! Have nice travel!! And hope to meet you when back!!! still on the T6.

Welcome home, fingers crossed you can get it sorted out again now you're there though...
I hope so CMDR! Truth is that ELEU situation is very grave and poor -all markets were already shut down- and we'll probably lose SANTJALAN as well... we need tons, and tons of people to help us bring those meds in.

Wish us luck and lend a hand if you close!!

Congrats Commander,
I left about 3 or 4 days after you and will be arriving on the 1st of August… Did you find docking tricky?

Amazingly not!! It was strange because one minute earlier I was like "huh, what do I do know? How do I approach this station?" scratching head. But as soon as I saw distance to 8.5 km..it was like a ghost took over, like auto pilot triggered and I started to do everything that I needed to and landed perfectly! ALL came back to me at that moment!! LOL..strange how the brain memorizes processes!

Welcome back Cmdr!

I'd be interested in your expedition statistics as well.
Don't forget to fill out Dognosh's Trip Data list when you've got everything sold and collated.

Yeah, definitely. That thread, the Galactic Mapping, the Jackie Atmospheric studies, the Big System Thread, The strange system thread, the thread with the Neutron Field Study, the thread with the Earth Like Planets....all of those will get some juicy data for their own study!! I just need to classify and then post! But patience! I have a system to save from death and political stress!! LOL! But it will happen through the following weeks.

Welcome back.

I'll miss that little green marker in that part of the galaxy.
Thanks Ziggy!! Hey, come by for some tea and pastries now that I am back!! LOL..

Welcome back. This has inspired me to go out wondering. I've not played in ages. Might dust off the old HOTAS
WOW! Definitely do so CMDR!! Glad that it helped to inspire you!! really many incredible things out there!!

To be honest with you, the hardest part for me was to rush from SAG A* to civilization! I mean, for a thorough explorer like me, that was painful! Just God knows -and thankfully so- how many ELP, Ammonia Worlds, Terraforming Candidates and Water Worlds I left behind in my rush! I mean, I don't even wanna know! But forcing myself to go jump-honk-jump-honk was also a good training to learn how to move faster around the galaxy...See, at the end you really need to be able to apply both skills...

Don't get me wrong, galaxy is still hugely big, insanely immense and I reached point of desperation coming back! But if I had kept my style, I wouldn't be back til probably November! LOL...

Thank you everyone again and yes!! Pics, pics pics will be posted in my other thread with the travel Log... first, sorting the juicy systems!!

Enjoy the week!!

Welcome back from your epic expedition Kancro!!!

It was good to chat with you as you arrived back. As promised I arrived back in the bubble a few hours behind you, I headed straight to Jameson Memorial, parked The Nomad and headed to Santjalan in a Type-9 filled with medical supplies. :)

Sadly when I arrived I saw how little difference my 484 tons were making - and also realised that Type-9 hauling probably isn't for me. :( I kept my own exploration data unsold until I arrived in Santjalan, which led to some exciting moments when NPC pirates tried to interdict me in the system.

From the look of the identical CG at Bast (where the CG community have focused their efforts) it looks like 2.5 million tons of meds are needed to succeed in the mission; so there is only time for them to succeed in one of the goals. I'll continue my efforts to help the people of Santjalan until it's too late though - I should have time for a couple more Type-9 runs per day.

Hopefully success at Bast will lead to a breakthough cure and eventually the disease will be defeated in Eleu and Santjalan as well. Then the twin-systems can return to their former glory. :)

Welcome back Commander o7

Isn't selling data fun and watching those credits rack up :)

What are you turning your hand to now?

Thank you CMDR Raiko! You are a very good friend and loyal CMDR..really glad to have you on my side but understand if you are busy with some other things.

To partially answer your question Engadine, the reason why i cut my expedition short was precisely to help my home systems of ELEU and SANTJALAN with the dire situation they are in right now with the Plague. Timing couldn't have been worse as most of the CMDR's that support SEPP are off to exploring or away for summer or elite boredom, precisely at the same time the PP powers are closing in to our region, and one of the Federation factions made a coup at ELEU overthrowing the SEPP and now they went for SANTJALAN. In the midst of all that, the plague hit.

ELEU is already in quarantine and all markets, bulleting boards, shipyards and outfitters have been shut down. Only fuel and redeeming of bounties is what's left across a now deserted, desolated, ghost system.

SANTJALAN is not doing any better. Right now there is little that I can do. I have been trying to work things around but as Raiko says, I am realizing I am hours away to also lose SANTJALAN to the plague. The huge amount of meds required I can't haul by myself, although I had SEPP Security Chief CMDR Red Barron working hard with me on this, we realized we'll never make it on time for the CG. Other few CMDRS have been doing their meds runs as well, and I appreciate that, but it is too late for us now.

For the time being, we just got help offered by our brothers at Mitchel City in BD-11 4280, a neighboring system and commercial partner, and they'll will be receiving us and all of the people that need to be displaced before the quarantine goes into effect.

Welcome home CMDR!

Thank you so much CMDR! Meeting with you was a highlight of this expedition and my visit to SAG A* couldnt have been any better, thanks to you!!

Welcome back! Glad you made it back safetly.

I'd love to see where you went on a galaxy map. Even if its just something scrawled out in MSPaint...

Hi Kancro,

I was wondering, could you offer some words of encouragement to Sir Ulysses_W?

He's a bit worried you know ... :)

Just did!!! Thanks! Hopefully will get the old grumpy Ulysses back to us!! That one became a complete hermit in that ship!
