Its just not possible with ED and can never be without wiping all accounts and having absolute strict control of how credits are earned as well as having money-sinks. It would be completely against what ED is, a multiplayer sandbox.

Want to make money in a game world? Check out SecondLife if you have skills at creating content or providing a service. The content and economy in SL is created/run entirely by its users with in-game currency having a real world value. I make a nice income there... and at one point was earning more per month than at my full-time job. It literally paid for the computer I'm using right now and much more.

moriarte i cant move that way cause im not the one that needs to move, games producers need to move, im here, i want to play, i just ask for a bit of real life value for the things i play, they are the ones that could move to the stock market indeed, if the game turns out real cash economy and the number of users is ridiculous increased i can see good profits in the stock market cause everybody gonna want that.

Personally I'm holding out for when we can exchange in game ships for real flyable Cobras, Vipers and Asps. Any news on when Frontier are going to implement this much needed feature?

You know this could only work if the only credits in game came from real cash. As things are at the moment there is an infinite amount of credits available so this would just end up with FD paying us.
Maybe if you came up with a way for this to work that didn't bankrupt FD people would consider it. However in my opinion it's the most stupid idea I've heard all day, and I hear a lot of stupid ideas :)
