Yellow line supercrusing

Is there a solution to get rid of the yellow line when supercrusing or if someone could mod it, so far I can only disable the orbital lines!

You can't disable the vertical speed scaling lines.

That sucks! cause in my opinon they are disturbing should be an option for that too as for the orbit lines!

Anyway would be great feauture request on next update and I think it will be more immersive with out the yellow sideline!

that's the thing about real space comic dust once outside a planets dustball you have no way of telling how fast your traveling via eyeball unless observing a relative bodies size decrease
at least in elite it occuipies all of space so for this game so you can I am not even sure sc is normal space or some kinda witchspace whatever that is anyways

Yes, you can always suggest this.
And I think I wouldn't be the only one supporting such a suggestion / feature request.
But don't hold your breath, FDEV are not well known for taking suggestions ino consideration, and even less for implementing them.

imho once your in super-cruise those vertical lines are the only real indication of speed or motion

i guess you could use those so called dust streaks to indicate motion but at light speeds those particles are more likely to be large enough to cause damage to your ship if you can see them

Cool to know but it would be nicer if you could toggle this option and not forced us to have it, I want more immersive feeling otherwise the game/sim itself is awesome !

it would make more sense if the streaks pinged of the shield as in the alcubierre froning warp drive supposedly what fsd is loosely based on
as if visable at speeds in excess of 1xc and even if billions of km apart they would rip any object a new one

still if we had inertia less drives we would probably zip around in the exact same way as ufo's don't.

Not counting the speed indicator.

The OP could always look at ED Hud Mod. I think that the upcoming version might do that. No harm in asking.
