Yellow T Tauri Stars are Dangerous

Hi guys,

Can T Tauri stars appear yellow? Seemingly they can. I attempted to scoop a yellow star recently and wondered why my fuel scoop didn't deploy until the emergency stop. I checked the star type and, sure enough, it was a T Tauri. I've only ever encountered the misty, white type previously.

I daresay others have seen these before, but perhaps a message to relatively new players: don't get complacent and rely on the visual colour of a star when jumping into a system that you haven't visited before. Make sure you check the star type before trying to scoop.

Yep, colour depends on mass. Can look like an A, F,G,K or M.

I think they can appear nearly any colour - although the majority are white or red. If in doubt, scan first!

..I'm pretty sure all stars become dangerous when you fly to them until you emergency stop.
