Yembo Community Goal feedback

Now it is over I would like to post some feedback about this first event.

I, personally, thought the supply side of things was fine. If you knew what to buy to trade and where to go for good supply, I was always able to make a profit from bringing in metals.
Sure - it was not a 2 way trip, I tended to make 4 stops on my route and the distances were large to find supply, but I did manage to find decent supply of metals.

However, the runs were quite a way down on what I could have got elsewhere, so I can understand that people were reticent to participate with revenues from trading down to 50-75%. A solution would be to have a new, higher demand rate that would make the trouble worth while.

The rewards for participating were also pretty... meh...
I got top 15% and I have 50,000cr waiting for me. And it will remain waiting too as the cost of going to Yembo to pick it up and come back will cost more in fuel than the money to pick up. This is a problem. With a normal mission you remain around the target and it is only a short hop to pick it up. With a long, multi-day mission like this, a large number of participants will have left the system far behind and will need to make a long, expensive trip, just to pick up a 'prize' that doesn't make up the lost cr from trading. Not great design.

It was nice to have something to do and to work towards, but I do think the design needs some work and some extra thought.
