Yep...alseep at the switch again.

Oh but I don't fly drunk due to the absolute horrible decisions I make. Things like "who needs a shield? This is just a passenger mission".

Not sure I actually fallen asleep but was definitely nodding off plus distracted. Point the ship inside a Orbis station rotating ring cause shortest path to the mailslot and all, until being woken up to the long connecting arm whacking repeatedly into the side of my ship. Hello rebuy.

Sometimes combat isn't as challenging as it could be.

Today my SLF pilot moved past me on combat ranking. It's quite embarrassing really. I have noticed recently that by the time I turn my Cutter round to get onto my next target, I get there just in time to see the pretty explosion. And only on 6% commission too (which is excellent value for a Master SLF pilot, imo). So, yes... I reckon I could fall asleep and not really be that bothered by pirates when my SLF is deployed - especially as most of my weapons are turrets too.

For pirate missions, I rarely use the scanner to find them. I try to take a delivery mission to the same system (ideally with a decent supercruise run). Invariably one or all the pirates will interdict me and attack en-route, and I don't get stitched up with a half hour cruise to nowhere. :)
