After all this time on these British boards I finally looked up marmite.

Marmite is odd stuff.
I don't like it raw, but throw some in Bolognese sauce. Yum. Lol
I miss my big American breakfasts at Denny's (and other places).
Cereal is 'meh', and English American breakfasts offend me, with wrong bacon, wrong hash browns, and small pancakes. Or worse. No pancakes at all.
Not as bad as the "American diner" I went to in Devon. I ordered pancakes, streaky bacon, and maple syrup.
I got crêpes, wrong unsmoked bacon, and golden syrup...
No. Just no.

Chicken sandwich is what I had.
It's Wednesday so dinner was take-away. Busy day so it's just easier. Still going down in weight though so it's not a big deal.

We did ribeyes, with mushroom and onion sauce, in a rosemary and butter reduction. Spaghetti and basil on the side.

Oh wait, I heard it was a meal that folks with real jobs get to have in the middle of their day. Some folks just get to work straight through 8-10hrs without a break or even a meal break.
Coffee keeps me going though.

Actually I am a Soux Chef in a popular restaurant and i never get to eat while I am there. Always working. Always.
In my experience (35yrs) in a restaurant you rarely get to eat. And if you do, you do it standing up a bite or two at a time, and it's generally cold when you get those bites.
To eat three times per day is a psychological conditioning.
