You are quite right sir it is a bug.

Its so trivial i didn't report it.

Carry on :).

I don't know about that. For new players like those on the PS4, this kind of makes the game feel half baked.

Now we on the PC and XB1 know about this tendency all too well, but any new player is going to be amazed that Frontier could have missed such an OBVIOUS BUG as controller VOs playing at the wrong times.

All you need to do is play the game for all of about 10 minutes. ;)

Never ceases to amaze me how things like this go from 100% working to 100% in a single unrelated update.

I assume that the "console"rs get the same thing too. If so it is really awfully embarrassing for F D to have such a glaring error up there in the face (OK in the ears) of these new PS4 players. - They must think that F D are really incompetent to release something with such a stupid error - not a good impression to give to new players at all.

Heads will roll. (Well they probably won't but methinks a chop or two pour encourager les autres would not be amiss. - Any F D people using the commander name of Admiral Byng?)

Yep... All versions get the same bugs in a new update for the most part.

But these kinds of things happen all the time with this game. Maybe not so glaring as this one, but other features that were working fine get suddenly broken in an update, even though that update claims to be addressing totally "unrelated" content/features to what gets broken.

I chalk it up to "sloppy" QA in-house. This isn't an isolated incident, but a pattern that I have been observing for 3 years.

And the White Knights vent their spleens on anyone who points out bugs in a public fashion, even after they have been duly reported and documented, and new players are coming in with a rude awakening to the sympathy level of the Elite community. :(

I am just confused why you made a thread about making a bug report?

The controllers don't talk to you after touchdown, but repeat it after launch, along with the launch dialog. This is both voice, and text. Also, no voice message on leaving the NFZ.

All types of stations. Many types of ships. Two accounts.

Yes, I validated my files.

Now, demean me. :)

Prepare for both barrels....

Damn you Ralph... The Dev's have enough work to do in getting 2.4 ready without fixing your's or anyone else's bugs! If 2.4 gets delayed we'll know who to blame. :D

Well, since you asked so politely.

You're fugly and your momma dresses you funny.

Now that the obligatory demeaning is out of the way... ;)

I noticed that bug right after the update. Someone clearly broke something somewhere. It's somewhat amusing at times though, makes you wonder what they're drinking in flight ops, and who's really at fault for the close calls and collisions in the mail slot. :D

I think a meta post about reporting a bug is not required. Thanks for reporting the bug, the more people who do so, the more attention it will get from FD. But no need to bring this into general discussion.
