I actually think those of us on the forums are over-exposed and thus disappointed. I know I am. But that's ONLY because of the information that I see in the DDA and DDF that isn't in the game yet. That lack is felt more by us than anyone else. Persistant NPCs, wings, crews, exploration probes etc etc.

Most folk won't have that and WHAT IS ACTUALLY IN THE GAME IS AMAZING.

I can't help it. I see one this piteously scraggly and emaciated, and my heart goes out to them. You know, most don't even get training anymore! They just boot them out from under the bridge with no way to make their way in the world, nary a BelAire to their name. It's tragic.

X-Rebirth was terrible and very unplayable. On release you were lucky if you could get 4fps.

I'll humor the opinionless OP.

I tried for two years to find any info on X:Rebirth alpha and beta stages, any kind of inside info - What I got out of that was absolutely nothing because it was heavily NDA'ed.


Comparing nothing vs. a game that has an open alpha/beta/gamma that allows videos by users and the answer is so painfully obvious = No, this is not even close to X: Rebirth.
