Yet another X52 thread.

Ok. So, 6 month ish old X52 pro and the "D" button (middle lit one on the throttle) has stopped working.

First, it started only registering (both in the logitec software and control panel "devices") when the throttle was at < 50% and now it doesn't show up at all.

Please say it's not a hardware problem. Lie if you have to.

Not using clutch mode and have tried both with/without the stick software. As an aside, the "I" button only seems to work with the control panel open.

Why does the pinkie switch on my X52 not work?

So I plugged in my X52 for the first time in a year a few weeks ago, and the game doesn't pick up the pinkie switch. Any help? I'm half tempted to get a different model but if I can get the X52 working 100%, great. I read something about a fallback mode here...

Not a pinkie switch proble. That's fine. It's the "D" button on the throttle and I'm pretty sure it's a hardware problem.

Have you double checked clutch mode as I have had mine revert to clutch mode for no reason. Also my understanding they are power heavy so that may be an issue. Good luck anyway.

I've heard that they work better if they are attached to a powered USB 2 hub. Is yours attached directly to the computer?

Yes. There's the x52 and a mouse.

all my problem with my X42 went away when i bought a power USB hub. the pc port wasnt giving it enough power all of the time. it lit up it looked fine but i was on the edge of what it required.
i have button working then stopping. i had triggers continuing to fire when i released the trigger, i had the trigger failing to fire weapons sometimes... even pip management i have on some hat keys stopped working.

since i connected to the hub, giving it more power it works a dream

i had this issue for 3 years, i could never work it out, i tried everything.
for 1.5 years now its worked a tread since fitting the hub
