It's not even that...it's the fact that Engineers, in terms of getting the mods, means that all your experience and money is suddenly worth nothing. It basically takes all players right back to the beginning, no matter how much money they've got in the bank.
I actually think that's a great thing.
As I've said before...when you've worked your backside off to get some modular terminals you've spent 3 days acquiring, you actually feel like you're protecting something of value...unlike when you're trucking gold worth a tiny fraction of your bank balance, when the rebuy and cargo loss isn't actually the end of the world.
