I don't know if anyone else has noticed, but you can disembark on planets with temperatures higher than 800K now. It used to be that the button was greyed out. Now it is orange and selectable, and "UNSAFE TEMPERATURES" is in red. If you disembark you'll take damage and will survive for about a minute, but that's plenty of time to get first footfall.

Perhaps we should honor the members of the 300 Club from Ancient Earth by making it a habit to circle our ship once before reentering if the temperature exceeds the suit limits.

"With an outside temperature of −27 °F (−33 °C), three men heated their backyard sauna to 280 °F (138 °C) and sat inside for 10 minutes. Upon exiting the sauna, they sprinted around a flagpole planted in honor of the South Pole tradition and took a brief roll in the snow before returning to the sauna."
