You could save thousands of lives...

Being a member of a large group, interacting with other large groups, and being involved with many community goals has made one thing very clear.

It's nearly impossible to tell friend from foe without use of a lot of 3rd party resources. Even then it's clunky and a coin toss at best to properly identify an ally from an enemy.

What's needed is in game support to help identify what player group, major/minor faction, and or power your pilot chooses to support that is easily visible to other players.

Call it clan tags or whatever makes you happy but allowing pilots to choose to identify with a group could save countless friendly fire mishaps and potential political issues between player groups.

If you play in Solo this won't hurt or affect your game in any way.

If you play in a Privite Group this can only enrich your cooperative experience.

If you play in Open this could stand to drastically improve your online experience.

If your a Lone Wolf type and choose not to join a group. Encounters with players in group might* be more civil. *(They might try to recruit you giving you time to position an attack or plot an escape route)

If you are in a Player Group being able to spot an ally or enemy at a glance could save so many needless deaths between friends. And help prevent wolves hiding among the sheep.

It's clear Frounter encourages players to congregate and play in groups based on the number of CGs surrounding player group actions or active areas. Just as much as they provide content for people who want a more private experience.

So why not make things more civil for those who choose to play with a group of friends?
