You don't know pain until....

You replace your Asp's G5 FSD mod with a G2 mod whilst your mind is obviously elsewhere. Ouch

Not jumping 50 light years anymore really changes fleet management and Engineering.

Arsenic surface mining and Data-mined wake exceptions are in my future when I can stomach either activity again.
Damn it. [haha]

Yep, did something along similar lines, although not quite as painful! I had a really good roll for a level 5 effect, and accepted it. THEN, probably when I was half asleep or something, I though 'oh, why don't I add such and such effect as well?' (I know, most of you are ahead of me now!)

Of course, when changing to a DIFFERENT EFFECT on a module, it resets OTHER aspects of the module back to 'standard settings' .... D'OH!!!

Ah well, lesson learned ... as well the lesson to NEVER FORGET TO REQUEST DOCKING PERMISSION when arriving at a CG station - in my Anaconda!! Went in ... lots of shooty stuff started .... just about made it out again with about 7 red ships on my screen and now I'm WANTED! Damn! .... but that's another story! :)

Ouch, I can totally understand your pain...

I have been postponing since forever to buy new ships because I have no more Arsenic, and the prospect of having to spend hours driving aimlessly following random blips feels like having to jump into a bear cage covered in honey... And any new ship in a non-modded FSD will feel completely crippled now compared to my current ships, so no new ships for me for a long time.

Unless of course when the Chieftain releases AND IF it happens to be a medium multipurpose that rivals the AspX or the Python, in that case I may be willing to waste an afternoon on the Arsenic Trek.

I have high hopes for the Chieftan too. I just hope for a fast ship with lots of hardpoints.

Speed and flexibility of loadouts would be amazing.

Regarding the pains of finding materials with the SRV, I just did some premium PA materials mining the other day and the scanner isn't buggy any more! I didn't get any ghost signals. Also, it felt like the spawn rate of the good metallic rocks has been upped a lot after the 2.4 update.

...So you "only" jump like what? 40? Anything above 25 is still damn good.

Would be cool if we could "lock" our favorite god-rolled modules, so they can't be accidentally sold or rerolled. I'm always afraid I will do something bad to my favorites.
