You got to be ting me, thank you...

Ouch. I was hoping for Unreal Engine 4

Research can be a very useful tool...

We develop games across multiple platforms using our proprietary cross-platform technology, Cobra...We have previously developed games for third-party publishers including Microsoft, Amazon, Konami and Atari, all powered by Cobra. Cobra has enabled code and resources developed on PC to be compiled and run on multiple formats while offering the power and flexibility to take advantage of every platform’s capabilities.

EXTREMELY excited for this. I understand that this isn't a direct successor to JPOG, but Frontier would be wise to build on many of the facets that JPOG pioneered.

I always found that the dinosaurs kept me coming back long after the park building aspect had grown repetitive.

My personal wish-list for the game:

1.) Have a "Site-B" like mode - Jurassic Park Operation Genesis had a dinosaur only mode that allowed you to Build your Island, populate it with the dinosaurs of your choosing and allow them to roam free as if it was the wild.

2.) Expand Dinosaur Interactions - allow for additional territorial / combat sequences. Have a territory overlay view for large predators. Adding breeding would add a lot of longevity and complexity to the dinosaurs in general.

3.) Aquatic / aerial environments - Jurassic World had additional environments above and beyond the normal terrestrial terrain.

4.) Additional environment variety - JPOG wasn't a very environmentally varied game. All trees looked the same, mountains as well etc. The trailer already looks very promising on this regard: tall trees, lush jungles, varied foliage etc.

5.) Varied dinosaur skins - No huge deal, but additional dinosaur skins would go a long ways in adding originality and "freshness".

That's what comes to mind off the top of my head. Very excited to see in-game footage!

Elite sits on my top list as well but under JPOG.

It's fun to see JPE get a lot of enthusiasm and hype on the youtube channels. I had never heard of JP: OG and interesting to see such a following. I'm not really interested in dinosaurs, but I wouldn't mind if there was game hunting with spacelegs, or some kind of dinosaur planet in ED someday.

You do realise the trailer isn't in game footage right? It's like watching this one and thinking it is E: D gameplay and visuals

Well, the production and concept designs shown in that old trailer seem to be all in the game. Some of the maneuvers can't be done sure, but a lot of it could be. I'd think the camera suite could be improved, with optionally moving or following spot camera. They were more on point with the 2.3 and ps4 trailer, and far less was exaggerated. Like the guy standing up. You can stand up on the bridge of your ship, but only during a holo-me editing session, lol.

Really? did you even watch it? for starters when was the last time you saw anyone walking across a station floor to get into their ship?

We'll be attempting to keep a tight rope when it comes to the hype, simmering down rumors, and conveying what is and isn't coming/happening in the coming year. Essentially, we hope to set expectations of what is to come with Jurassic World Evolution. :)

That would be extremely noble of you if you guys did. In a world where hype seems to be more important than the actual game, your method is a healthy step in a twisted industry.

You've misunderstood my wording or deliberately pretending not to understand. I said the concepts are in the game, not that spacelegs was here yet. The old trailer had much of the preproduction paintings and most all the designs are visually in the game now in whatever static or active form. The new trailer ( 2.3 & PS4 trailer )has the guy standing up. And you can see your holo-me standing up in the bridge in the holo-me editor. They're working on being able to walk on the bridge and spacelegs. It's not ready yet. They probably already have a test module and character with skeletal movement already walking all over the bridge in their development in the secret corners of the Frontier office. But making it work with everything else is a long way to go.

I think it's you that is deliberately pretending not to understand, stop being in denial. There is no space legs implementation in this game, yet it was shown in that trailer.

They're working on being able to walk on the bridge and spacelegs.

There you go again, do you even read the forums lately? It's a feature that isn't in the game and isn't coming anytime soon and the quote below implies they haven't even begun working on it.

It's still something we'd like to do, but the focus after 2.4 will be improvements of core gameplay mechanics. To add this rather heavy feature without meaningful activities around it would be a disservice to you guys, and it's a hell of a lot of work for the dev team. My advice would be to work on the assumption that it'll be a ways off yet, because as has been mentioned many times before: to do it properly would be a whole new game within ED.
