I'm. Kinda based out of Qi Yomisii right now, and the smuggling in this area is making me some serious cash.

I pretty found what I needed in terms of end-games weapons and armor for Destiny, so I decided to take a break. (Tired of not being able to fly my ship lol.)

With Elite Dangerous, I can have whatever ship I want, run combat, trading, mining, exploring; you get freedom! Since I was 4 the first games I ever played were Doom, Warcraft 1, and X-Wing vs TIE-Fighter. Now that I've got Elite Dangerous I can finally enjoy space for first time in almost 20 years.

I totally agree! I had high hopes for the game, but it soon became clear that it was just another typical FPS. Same goes for the last few HALO games. I have been waiting for a well done SPACE BASED sim/game like ED to come along on console for decades! I really started to think it would never happen, and now we have ED and No Man's Sky coming out for PS4 this year as well!

I hope they both do REALLY WELL so that we start seeing more games in this long forgotten genre FINALLY get their due!

I have looked at No mans Sky and seem a few comments and it does seem like a good game, however how no mans sky is launching I.e going on to planets etc ED will have one day lol
