Oh yeah, this happened to me too. I actually was able to board with the SRV, but finding the right spot was very finicky

My Frontline Vulture flew into a mountain the other day and got stuck facepalming the verticle surface, the CZ was somewhere 5km away.

is there an invisible rock underneath it, by any chance? 😉

I have not seen any invisible rocks since update 6. Mind you, I didn't see them before either. My SRV on the other hand felt them quite firmly.

Actually - I think we would rather that some rocks remain invisible...

...today I recalled my ship, it was hovering about 15m above me - the blue cylindric spot appeared and I was able to board my ship (with SRV) ... I guess I just got... beamed up! :cool:

Hmm... you haven't seen invisible rocks. Could that be perhaps .... because they are invisible?

Sorry, couldn't help myself with that one

Back to the subject at hand, OP seen that a few times now. The last one like that I tried to board but couldn't get in right position. Dismiss / recall got it in a better position. Seeing the dance my ship did to get into the awkward position was a sight to behold though. I kind of wish I had recorded video of it.
