You know what is big?...

VY Canis Majoris is big! :)

I just visited this star, and while any star looks huge close up when you pop out of witch space.. well.. you're not that close when you pop out at VY Canis Majoris... :)

The thing looks big even from 50k ls...

Other than that, I passed through Barnard's loop earlier, and I might hop off towards the rim now to find some peace and quiet and tag some stars and iceballs.

Meanwhile, here's a picture of my Asp orbiting some ball of rock with Barnard's loop as a backdrop.
Going places in this asp is so much easier than it was in the Cobra that took me to Sgr A* :)

That star has always fascinated me. ED is very good at representing sheer sizes and distances.
