Welcome CMDRs,

Currently I'm waiting for a train at Stafford station on my way to Bristol for the EliteMeet. I'll be posting updates through the day and images n videos tomorrow. I'm hoping to meet lots of community folks and have a blast...

Are you on your way? How are you getting there? What are you most looking forward to? What would everyone like me to try and find out about? Which mod should I slap with a kipper first?

I would like to see Elite Meets worldwide not just the UK.
For me to travel all the way from "Her Majesty's Penal Colony" (Australia) all the way to the UK is a bit of an ask.
How about an Elite Meet on different continents at different times of the year so players could catch up with local CMDRs?

While on it, how about FD pack some shipping containers and show up at PAX-Aus sometime in the future?

Go ahead and organise it, thats how the Bristol one started a few years back iirc.

They're easy to find. Shout: "Get rid of Solo!" or "Open should have it's own BGS" and wait for someone to escort you to the Open vs Solo vs Wombats room.

I just went to the shops for many crates of beer. If anyone's in the neighbourhood of Tilburg feel free to drop in :)

Lunch is good. Met lots of CMDRs so far and its still early in the day! Mod hunting starts for real once I've had a post lunch nap... The fish waiting!!!

I failed at Navigation on the way to Bristol thanks to relying on a SatNav that kept re-routing me back to the closed part of the M4, with me unable to read the diversion signs properly. After going around in circles a few times, I called it a day. (sitting in traffic for an hour, moving a total of 1/2 a mile didn't help !)

Have fun out there CMDRs.
