Not fer much longer, got the T9 fitted exactly how I want it fitted fer a long stretch in the black...now in hitting the courier missions hard fer those last few casino coins needed to upgrade the fsd, thrusters and scanners and I am so outta here.

Took 3 heavy losses so far...2 were the pointless ganks no comms, no demands types and the other was due to lemming skimmers so I reckon I've done ok so far...pushing into a 4th week is pushing my luck before something serious befalls me.

The black is calling me again and one is almost ready to answer the call...another week tops then I can escape this sink hole of humanity and head home ^

Didn't see this until now, but I was planning to join the CG at Hehe. What a name.

Well, so I've done it and I have finally, after many months of looking for it, engaged in a PvP battle at the Conflict Zone. Of course, I got totally outclassed since I've never done it before and my ship isn't exactly uber. It's a moderately modified Vulture and I was up against what appeared to be a Fer-de-Lance with very good shields and weapons that drained my shields in about five hits. I didn't realise I was under attack and I immediately engaged evasive manoeuvres, and managed to low-wake away. And promptly forgot that my opponent would probably want to finish me off or else I would have remembered to drop out and boost then wait a bit. As it was, I got destroyed by the same CMDR twice, second time I got taken on three on one and I waved the white flag and let them win. I did lose my collection of combat bonds, twice, but hey it was a blast. Unfortunately it'll be a while before I've get a good idea of what it's like to fight a human opponent, and have a ship that won't lose the battle of attrition. I could outmanoeuvre the Fer-de-Lance but every time I took a hit, it was major while my weapons were not especially effective. Well, it helped that I have about a hundred rebuys of my Vulture.

I'm going back for more. Wish me luck :)
