Welcome CMDR’s,
Once again I have some good news for you… It’s Friday and that means it’s practically the weekend. A time when we’ll get to load up Elite and do our thing – As always though… what is that ‘thing’ you plan to do?!?
Also this week I have another poll without a poll for you to cast your vote in… How does it work, well I’ll ask you a question, you leave a response and if I can be bothered I might just tally up the results.
The Poll.
If you could nominate just one person to be a moderator of these forums who would it be? I’d like to know who and why plus what you think the outcome would be regardless of it being a disaster or the most hysterical thing to happen to a gaming forum in the history of… gaming forums.
Only one rule though – you cannot vote for me – I know, many of you are thinking Bran would be perfect with his grumpy old view on things but all I would do is ban you all so I can finally have some peace and quiet!
Personally my choice would be David Braben, pretty sure he’s a forum member and I think he’s really enjoy moderating all of our posts…
Now you know what to do, tell us who you think should get this fantasy position. I would like to make it clear, if there is to be a winner then they get nothing… Bit like the real mods pay packet!

Traders – How much profit can you make in two days?
Pirates – How many ships can you rob in two days?
Bounty Hunters – How many bounties can you eat in two days? I am not interested in anything other than the Chocolate/Coconut bar.
Miners – Could you spend the entire two days mining?
Explorer’s – Could you make it back to the bubble in two days without the self-destruct button being used?
Everyone else – What do you plan to do over the weekend in game?
Not playing Elite – Tell us why in another thread, not this one please. All we want to know is what you will be doing.
Right, enough of my waffle. Over to you lot. As always try to keep it clean and have some fun, it is Friday after all!
What will I be doing? More practise is needed with FA off so that's what I have to look forward to so if you interdict an Eagle that flashes its landing gear at you before staggering off as if it had consumed several bottles of Whisky. Please bear in mind it's pilot has most likely consumed the Whiskey and the staggering is actually his best attempt to fly in a straight line.
