"Your Account Does Not Have Permission To Use Multiplayer Features" Anyone Know how to correct this?

What's up Commanders.

So, I'm looking to find some pilots to fly with, registered today to the forums to see if anyone wanted to wing up.
But it seems that my game is lacking permissions to log in on Open Play all of a sudden.

I have been piggy-backing off of my Mate's Live account and have never encountered this problem before.
Does anyone know what it means or how to fix it.

There are a few things that crossed my mind.

There was an issue with gamesharing before, not sure if that is fixed.. I think it is. (Anyone?)

Its also possible that the console you are playing on isn't his home console, or his Xbox live "Gold subscription" is expired.

The game sharing is fixed as far as my secondary account now has horizons.
Defo check the gold subscription but also check your privacy settings

Check that your mate hasn't removed you from game sharing too
