Your Best Day in Exploration?

What was your best day for exploration? By this, I mean discovering the coolest, rarest, or just plain awesome(st?) things in just one day. Try to post only the most significant (i.e. don't say you discovered a water world around an F-type, they're common :p). Post yours below, along with what you discovered (pictures would be nice)!
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
I'll kick it off:

Today, I discovered a Planetary Nebula:

A ringed Earth-like world around a Neutron Star:

And last, but not least, an Earth-like world around a Black Hole:

(The gravitational lensing of the black hole shouldn't be hard to spot. The light is coming from a nearby F-type.)

My best day in exploration wasn't discovering what was out there. It was how fast I could get out there. I've since done better, but this run - in less than 24 hours - was done without Engineering, without Jumponium.

I've had runs where I didn't surprise anyone. I've had runs where I surprised others. This was the only run where, in comparing what I expected on starting to the final outcome, I genuinely surprised myself. And discovering that you can get to any reachable place in the galaxy in less than a day? Yeah; that's an awesome discovery.

The relief I felt when I found the isthmus back to the rest of the galaxy after being lost left of Beagle Point for about two evenings of play.

scouting a path in my silly-ships-expedition DBS down to the real galaxy supergiant HD 268757, which some essay from the 80ies lists as one of the five brightest objects in the night sky - and finding it undiscovered with a landable close by.

doesn't look spectacular, but was!

At the time, 3000ly under the galaxy, but it feels a bit old now. I discovered my own RL nebula however, NGC 2867 which was an *pain* to reach pre-neutron boosts

Phew thats a hard one. Finally hitting Beagle Point would be a contender for sure. But so would be the first extreme Landing in Elite History at Hades Edge back in the Horizons Beta...
Or handing in the Data for my very own Planetary Nebula and that one HD System i had in my Data Stash for like 10 Months :D

When I jumped into the Beagle Point system in my sidey, with a bunch of friends...way back in March or April 2016 (wow how time flies).

A great feeling since so many had helped me get there (in a 22LY jump range sidey with no SRV it would not have been possible on my own).

Getting completely stuck in the Abyss and not being able to find the way to backtrack. Especially since you remember using a jumponium charge but neglected to write down from which system you did.

I was worried for a good 2 hours I'd need to call someone for some counseling. But when I finally got out, and happened upon a route to take me out of the abyss, it was grins all the way.

I did think about my Abyss Rock rat rescue but that took 4 days not one
