Your Colony's facilities (Stations, and settlements) should show you VIP treatment as the Architect.

When I arrive at the station I created, or any facility I created, I am treated as if I am just the average person. There is nothing that makes me feel like I am the architect of the system. I don't even have access privileges in the settlements. To make the player feel like we accomplished something, I believe there should be different things (or perks) that a system architect should enjoy:

• Special set of radio greetings from the station or settlement personnel denoting my status as the system architect (on foot, maybe vendors in station stand at attention & Security in settlements salute you in your presence. Perhaps they give you the "Sir, yes sir" treatment when they address you.
• This may be a stretch, but create an office for the system architect in stations that can only be accessed when the architect is present. He can open it up to others while he's there if he chooses.
• Give architects full tier 3 access to their settlements. Yes this will allow an architect to farm the materials at his own settlements. I argue he has earned the right. (Perhaps the architect has to be fully allied with the faction that controls it.)

Just these few things alone would go a long way to make a system architect feel like they matter within the system they created, but feel free to think of more perks to further the point!

i don't agree perse. these systems and facilities are a business and basically a faction is in control of it, not you directly. you get revenue as the architect, but you are not the total boss. You can personalise, but not run the facilities.

When irl an architect builds an office or appartment complex, he doesn't get an office in it either, nor a discount on buying an appartment.

Yes we should get our name as Architect on some sort of building plaque or hall of fame in the station menu.

Maybe an upgrade of some sort if the system is successful in the long term for its owners.

But right now when the scaffolding is still up seems a lot premature.

I think the most reasonable one would be a small office/bedroom area on the primary station. Somewhere you can go and rest after a long day's hauling.

A bit more of a stretch, T1 security access in settlements would let you actually run around and see the stuff you built without totally breaking farming or progression. Your a contractor, not a dictator lol.
