Wait, how did you get the throttle's MFD to be orange? That's not in the settings, right? Did you replace the background light or something? Or is that photoshopped?

And how do you setup a galaxy samsung tab up to work with a game like this? Could you perhaps see to make a video where you show it off on youtube?

Hello!
i modified the MFD internally, putting a pink translucent film (pink+green=amber). it is not absolutely perfect, but it does the job.
also modified the 4 throttle led to be always red. quite simple once you see the internal. i really hate green, in ED nothing is green :)

i dont use the tablet to control the game, the x52 is fair enough to do everything (and headtracking helps a lot also).
so i do not use roccat powergrid, but just shared folder, when i am on the galaxy map i set the navigation path, take a screenshot with a x52 button, and the tablet shows the screenshot saved in shared folder so i can navigate the various systems without opening the map everytime.

Here's mine, simple but effective: 42" TV, X52 attached with velcro to an Ikea Poäng. This way I can still use the chair as a normal chair, if I need to.

Here is my setup. ASUS 27" 3D monitor @144hz refresh. SS Merc Keyboard w/ Naga Razer mouse. Onkyo 7.1 Stereo Bi-Amped for 5.1 surround. Four 10" PSW10 Powered Subs for that extra Boom Boom. And will be running a Saitek Rhino flightstick and throttle w/ Saitek pedals. Sorry for the small pic...lol

How did you get your name to show up?

Use the Saitek software to create a profile and give it your commander name, then select the profile and this will be displayed on your MFD.

Presenting "Project Ivar"... I wanted to build a more "traditonal" flightsim-chair not only for the use in ED but for my warthog... nevertheless ED was the trigger. And it all had to start with an IKEA chair. That was somehow the first objective I've set up for myself to start building...

Now that is a fantastic job you've done there NC Sarge. Rep incoming ...

Nice pictures too.
