Your favourite animal from each continent

not necessarily my favourite to build for but my favourite ingame animals from each continent

Africa: fennec fox (my favourite animal ever)
Antarctica: king penguin (sadly its all alone)
Asia: indian peafowl (they are just so pretty)
Europe: Hermann's tortoise (felt bad not including an exhibit animals and tortoises are cute)
Oceania: common wombat (hard choice since honestly all the oceanic animals are mid tier picks)
North America: cougar (huge and diverse climate range plus its a big kitty with plenty of folklore)
South America: nine banded armadillo (cute and i love deserts)

North America: Timber Wolf, Arctic Wolf, Raccoon
South America: Maned Wolf
Australia: Dingo, Tasmanian Devil
Africa: African Wild Dog, Spotted Hyena, Fennec Fox
Europe: Red Fox, Arctic Fox
Asia: Dhole, Striped Hyena

Wow, who woulda thought that @caninesrock loved dogs and dog-like animals?!

I don't think I e participated here, so here's my list:
  • Africa - Southern white rhino (ironic that I rarely use them) HM: meerkat
  • Asia - Sloth bear (Baloo!) HM: Bengal tiger
  • Australia - Southern cassowary (coolest bird alive) HM: Tasmanian devil
  • Europe - Red fox (one of my favorite canines) HM: Mute swan
  • North America - American alligator (my favorite crocodilian) HM: nine-banded armadillo
  • South America - Jaguar (my favorite cat) HM: blue morpho butterfly
  • Antártica - King penguin (it was tough, y'all) HM: king penguin

Ngl africa and asia were by far the hardest, happens when they have double the animals of the other regions

  • Africa: Lemures - This might be a little cheating, but id put all 3 lemures together for the simple reason that they are by far the best monkey stand in in the game. Together with the capuchin they can easily populate any primate area and do a colorfull job at that and as their big advantage i not just find them visually more appealing but they also are much quieter then the capuchins, making me not want to mute the game when im near them. Got no big preferance among the 3 (ergo why they are grouped up) but if i had to rank it would be red ruffed lemure > ringtailed > black and white ruffed
  • Asia: Wild water buffalo - I love bovines, i love water features, these guys were made for me. I might would love them a little more if they were the domestic but in the end beggars cant be choosers and they certanly are my favorite cattle by a long shot, props being my favorite ungulate in the game to build for
  • Oceania: Bennets Wallaby - I just think they are neat, fitting well into both budget and more expensive zoos and being able to fill the role of filler or main attraction of an australia area, especally when part of a walk through. Could pretty much single handedly represent oceania oversea and you wouldnt be far of from reality
  • Europe: Fallow Deer - GOATED its literally the best and most versatile deer and possibly even ungulate in the game. Petting zoo? Yes. Walkthrough? Yes. Naturalistic habitat? Yes. Fitting thanks to their huge range in biomes in most habitats? Yes. Conservation Value? Imagine they got a Mesopotanian in front of their name and you got your Yes. They fit in every project, budget or high end, themed or low theme, as filler or the main attraction. Its simply among the most versatile animals in the game and i value that alot.
  • North America: Prarie dog - These guys are just insanely usefull, a bit like meerkats but more lowkey. They fit into every zoo and are most likly the best filler animal the game has to offer, giving them a special place in each of my projects, remarkeably even rising above my beloved trash panda
  • South America: Spectacle caiman - I gotta say, i really like these guys. They are imo the perfect crocodillean, just the right size, beautiful pattern, most common in europe and just a fun wildcard pick that i never would have expeted but really love that they made it
  • Antartica: King Penguin - duh, tough to say something else but it is pretty cool (pun intended) so i dont mind giving it the slot

• North America: Pronghorn, I just love the look of them and was so thrilled when my local zoo got them! Then got rid of them 3 months later.
• South America: Capybara yall know the rest
• Africa: Plains Zebra, Would be Grevy’s as my overall favorite but I just love the look of the stripes
• Europe: Fallow Deer, they are really friendly irl and a nature center near me had multiple and they loved being pet
Asia: Asian Small Clawed Otter OR Dhole, I love the ASCO just for their adorable nature and behavior but the dhole has always amazed me with their color and behavior. I have sadly only seen this wonderful canid once but hope to see them again
Australia: Tasmanian Devil, my local zoo has them (3 pairs!) and they always are so fun to watch.
Antarctica: King Penguin- Chinstrap Penguin is better.

North America: Grizzly Bear
South America: Jaguar
Africa: Ring Tailed Lemur
Europe: Ibex
Asia: Red Panda or Sloth Bear
Oceania: Red Kangaroo
Antarctica: King Penguin

My bad. I forgot the King Penguin was in the game. I was thinking there were no Antarctic animals in the game. I do like penguins. I think they're cute, so they'd be my favorite animal for Antarctica (unless Planet Zoo ever releases a Leopard Seal because I like seals better than penguins).

North America: Black-tailed praire dog
South America: Maned wolf, giant otter
Europe: European lynx
Asia: Babirussa
Africa: White rhino
Oceania: Common wombat
