Your Favourite Holo Me Avatar?

I have spent a decade playing Elite Dangerous and for much of that time, it has been possible to create your in game Holo Me avatar and later full blown on-foot character.
I have made a dozen avatars over the years across my two accounts but the thing is though, it seems that creating a character that looks good is either an art or just good luck. Most of them have been borderline hideous or plain creepy.

Finally, though, I think I made a character that looks great, on my dozenth (or so) attempt.

Anyone else have a favourite Holo Me Avatar or have seen one that appeals to them? I mean avatars made with the in game Holo Me creator.

My avatar (not the forum one ) was created by my daughter and represents my actual looks, as far as she could recreate it in the game. But I SWEAR I have more hair left!!111!!!111

As I've named my CMDR (and my forum account) after my favorite movie character of all time, I've of course tried to make the Holo-Me look like Armin Müller-Stahl. Which I failed miserably at, so it just looks like "generic old gray haired dude with a mustache #3". Instead I decided that my CMDR would just never take his helmet of. So as a result, my in-game avatar looks like this:

Also, I hate that damn smirk they added with Odyssey. Another reason to never take of the helmet ever, ever again.

I don't ever really get attached to characters in games.

Oh I wear whatever helmet is tickling my fancy at that moment. During the silly season it's usually a pumpkin (I loved how people freaked out over that when it was first released). Wore the silly cowboy hat for a long time, but got tired of waiting for a proper "Man with no name" poncho. I also like the hood that looks a bit like those weirdos from Mass Effect. And I generally avoid helmets with a see-through visor - see above. My armor rarely ever changes though - I really like the silver armor you get for one of the mercenary ranks.

Harry Potter usually has a decent avatar.

But for me, I found something worked early and stuck with it.
Even did a de-ageing to figure out who I was in my youth and who I'm married with:
I thought it was a nice touch to figure out when the scars arrived. (Canonically, my mouth scars come from my forum banning that time I called so-and-so a such-and-such)

Ten years later, I've very noticeably aged and the avatar hasn't, and those long-lost good looks now taunt me from the cockpit...



I guess this game is telling me I need to at least get back into shape!

Damn, that's some harsh reality right there.. As a player of Elite from way back in 1986, I just feel sad knowing I likely don't have many years left. My friends have started dropping like flies and given my sedentary job and lifestyle, I probably won't be that far behind them...

Glad I stopped pining for The Other Game, though, since I might never even see that released at all..

I had a very brief look on that web site last week, if it's the same one I'm thinking about it's supposed to be released sometime in 2026...but I'm not holding my breath, but they're still holding my kickstarter money though.

I try periodically to alter my in game avatar but I can never settle on a character I'm happy with. My young grandson upset me slightly a couple of months back when we were playing the game together as he said... "Grandpa, that doesn't look like you, he's to young looking!"...Ah! kids, don't you just love 'em!

btw... Have you seen the latest furor that's going on at the moment? Basically a group of hackers have basically enabled the Dev Tools to be used by in game players and there is no server side checking to sanitize the data received from clients. So now basically, they are going to have to rewrite a LOT of server side code.
