General / Off-Topic Your Favourite Jurassic Moment

...for me it is any point we see the park open and running in Jurassic World. <3

You know what? One of my most favourite moments is in the first film, when they have all just got into the cars and it's when they first drive past the Dilophosaurus exhibit, and the automated voice is speaking to them about how the dilophosaurus spits venom at its prey... Such an eerie feeling I get from that every time I watch it! Especially because they don't show the Dilo... you just see an expanse of jungle infront of them , gives me chills! Fantastic setting of atmosphere. [where is it]

Mine has to be the "Welcome to Jurassic Park" scene from the beginning of the first film. I mean as if experiencing a fully-grown Brachiosaur wasn't enough to render Hammond's visitors speechless in awe, he just nonchalantly comments that they clocked the T-rex at over 30mph! The looks on the faces of Grant & Ellie are just priceless.

I hated it. I loved Muldoon in the book and he was pretty kick butt int he movie too. I was hoping he would make it.

I can't really remember him from the book. In the movie the trouble was, he got that crazy look in his eye, "It's alright. I've got her." He was hunting the raptors, not just defending himself? Toast, was probably inevitable. (There's only one Pete Postlethwaite! RIP.)

Ahh Muldoon in the book is a much better character - actually survives after taking out a raptor with a rocket launcher, pretty sure he successfully tranqs the Rex as well. I find he's more like Roland Tembo from the Lost World film.

I really liked the scene in Jurassic World where Gray opened the double doors of the hotel, revealing the park.

The way we got the flying-cam there guiding us through the entire park, alongside the iconic score kicking in, has always sent a massive chill down my spine. It's nostalgia done so right - and it's such an emotional piece of cinematography. Honestly, nothing but love for it.

You should re-read the books, it is a totally different person in the book, he is a lot more kick . Heck he blows a raptor up with a grenade launcher.

my favorite moment from JP is Nedry's death at the Hands of the Dilophosaurus, the way the frill pops up and it's tenacity to kill Nedry makes it my favorite carnivore.

Hmm might buy the book/s and better settle down ta watch the films ( haven't seen the Chris Pratt one yet ).

umm.... When Sam Neil's character 'ties' ( reef knot iirc ) his helicopter seatbelt :D

In JP1 when they look down at the field and see all the dinosaurs cohabiting the same grassy field in water with that legendary score playing in the background.
