Your favourite ship, and why?

Well, I've done a search and this question hasn't been asked yet so.

For me, its the Eagle. The looks, inside and out, the sound of it, how it flies. Weeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee! 3 Hardpoints. I have no interest in buying a Python even tho I could afford one....barely.

What's your favourite ship, and why??

The FDL. It makes me feel like a space shark. There are quicker, nimbler, those with bigger bites, but that ship just makes you feel dangerous.

If I didnt have the paint job - strangely its a type 7 becuase its the right size to make credits to upgrade any other ship quite quickly (my 4 station run will earn over CR 1M per rotation) I quite like the fact thats its a pure and simple workhorse and does what it says it will

Imperial Clipper - very good all-rounder. Can make good bounty money in RES zones, can outrun most ships when needed, and is a good trader with excellent views.
The only real downside is not being able to land at trading posts.

I really enjoy my Clipper and the versatility that it provides. I enjoy everything about it, even though it is not perfect! I have been window shopping lately. But, nothing appeals to me this far.

Loving my Lakon Type-6. Utilitarian, bubble canopy, capable of self-defence, heaps of room for carting tea. Good jump range. Currently orange. Like the big feet. Halogen bulb headlights.

Cobra MkIII because no other ship says "Elite" than the iconic Cobra. Ohh and because of my lovely 30th Anniversary wireframe skin.

Well, still being relatively new I have only tried three ships atm the sidey, an eagle and lastly a viper but last night I decided to ditch my viper and went back to the eagle, and liking it much better.
Partially the expansive view from the cockpit as well as the cockpits central location aiding for this tight squeezes.
And after putting some beam lasers and a cannon on it (cannon is mostly for making noise) I'm not missing the punch the viper had either.

Now if it just didn't have that green paint job :(

I'm not sure yet. I have both Asp and Anaconda, but I am feeling like I should sell them and try something different. I have also had Python, Type-6 and 7, Cobra, Eagle and of course a Sidewinder. I have never tried pure fighters (excluding Eagle) such as Viper, Vulture or Fer-de-Lance.

People here seem to praise FDL and it would be on my price category (If I sell my other ships). I could instantly pimp up one, provided I could find one and the parts? Any hints? Founders world?

Hauler. It's the first and most flexible entry level ship you can get early on. Best value for money.

Then there's the cobra and nothing more needs be said.

I'm currently flying a Python and it's really growing on me. Taking out anaconda, smuggling and some listed exploration. Pretty fine all round ship
