Newcomer / Intro your rank on the forum profile

Why is it only possible that you see your combat rank on your forum profile but not the rank you have get with trading or exploring

Lol, its not your in game rank.
This is your forum rank, Mostly Harmless means newbie, and it rises with your post count.
Its not linked to the game at all.

Are you referring to the rank under your forum name? If so that is based on the number of posts you have made, not what you are up to in game (more's the pity I can only dream of being deadly in game...)

Oh and I will also point out the forum ranks are based on the original Elite rankings not the ED rankings so there is no Master or expert or any of that.

There are I think about 16 folk who have posted enough drivel...sorry times to be classed as Elite and 3 of them are mods :p ;) but yes you are correct there is a 400 post error in getting to Elite.

A better indicator is the green dots.

Although most people turn them off after a while. Those are the ones you watch out for! ;)

I honestly didn't know this.
I wondered why my true game ranking of 'Ming the Merciless' was not being shown!
