Your servers suck, offer offline mode!

And whining about the impossible is .
I can say the same about this comment actually. This stuff is procedurally generated ON DEMAND if you don't get it. This is why we have a whole lot of bugged systems that nobody even visited. Also, essentially same stuff was there in the older game that was able to run on 1990 PC. This online stuff is to provide us with this garbage market fluctuations mentioned earlier and if somebody think it adds to the game immersion, well good for them. I certainly don't feel like that.
They didn't have resources to get us the offline version and I totally get it. But they also apparently don't have resources to provide stable servers.

Have you seen the little piggies
Crawling in the dirt
And for all the little piggies
Life is getting worse
Always having dirt to play around in.

Have you seen the bigger piggies
In their starched white shirts
You will find the bigger piggies
Stirring up the dirt
Always have clean shirts to play around in.

In their sties with all their backing
They don't care what goes on around
In their eyes there's something lacking
What they need's a damn good whacking.

Everywhere there's lots of piggies
Living piggy lives
You can see them out for dinner
With their piggy wives
Clutching forks and knives to eat their bacon.

a space juggalo?

I find it interesting that the situation has devolved to the point where boot-licking shills openly equate paying customers to mud-slathered pigs. Stay classy.

After playing the game for a while, I just don't think it was ever feasible to have an entire universe of hundreds of millions of systems in offline mode. FD deserves heat for breaking a promise, but technically, the promise should have never been made. The data foot print would be immense.

I'm pretty amazed at just how few people grasp this after playing the game. +1

It's way more than that, and also the stuff we haven't seen yet.
