Your Wish List for 1.4

What if I told you that, 1.4 is 1.3, but with space kittys...

I'd like some place I can take slaves I've found floating in space.

I'd like a choice of colours for the HUD

I'd like better missions

I'd like a "Find on Map" feature on the bounties I've still to collect

I'd like multiple Nav Beacons for systems which need them.. apart from Hutton Orbital

isn't the eagle an ancient outdated ship no longer in production? So no.

I really get tired of people trying to avoid the sound logic of giving the eagle a very needed buff to speed using this very argument, one word is needed to dismiss that RETROFITTING, besides, isn't the cobra an ancient ship design too? Although the eagle is discontinued it would only make sense that the majority would be retrofitted by those with the know-how as eagles are not in production anymore that would mean that eagles are regularly sold and bought but not made making the eagles in circulation the eagles that were built before the eagle's discontinuation, and they couldn't have been discontinued for that long otherwise prices would go up as the eagle becomes rarer and rarer

-my wish for 1.4 is better balance of weapons and ships as well as careers

My wish list for 1.4 is about the same as my wish list for 1.1! ;)

System Security Level visible from the the Galaxy Map (info panel, filters, colour coding).

More danger from pirates in Low Security systems.

More effective police in High Security systems.

A built-in Multiplayer Network Test feature at the Main Menu screen, always running.

More and better graphics detail settings (that work).

Fix the bug with teleporting missiles already.

Better NPC AI.

Reliable Background Simulation with regard to minor faction state changes.

Fully animated Supercruise Dropout sequence, as opposed to "press, pause and skip".

Sensible use of the Universal Cartographics mechanism (buy others' scans, irrespective of distance).

Knock the dogfight-compromising Shield Cell Banks into shape.

well if we're looking at dreams of fancy that will never come true....

How about getting rid of shield cell banks altogether. It's a stupid game mechanic that only furthers a broken dogfighting one, one that should be fixed when the fix the broken subsystem damage model.

How about syncing to the "server" whenever something important happens to further detect cheating. And on top of that, treat cheating as something important. This isn't borderlands. Players care that cheaters are circumventing hours of investment by rule abiding players.

Stop under the table refunding players when they make mistakes. If they can't deal, let them leave.

How about automating almost all of the things FD has to dip their hands into to affect.

Fully server generated pools of npcs persisting in systems where killing / getting killed in instances on clients gets updated back to the server. Completely ending re-instancing and allowing branching missions etc with npcs. \

and finally (besides anaconda paint jobs) stellar bodies with harmful devastating effects in realistic distances. Black holes with accretion discs. Jets. Pulsars. Binary stars sharing or siphoning atmosphere when close enough. Asteroid bases. Relic dead outposts from failed colonization attempts. ..etc.
