Just a small tutorial (yes, yes, I know) for those who want to play keyboard and mouse. It covers roll, pitch, yaw, thrusts, speed, Flight Assist, How to access the HUD panels, how to move pips and how to select a Hyperjump target and jump.

This is very helpfull for a new player and it has great music!



I hope its not rude if i suggest to rebinding stuff for mouse + keyboard use though. I ordered a CH HOTAS setup but i might never use it after flying with the following for 2 days:

W: pitch up
S: pitch down
A: roll left
D: roll right

Mouse axis for pitch and yaw, mouse wheel throttle in 10% increments, 1-3 keys to 25%, 50% & 100% throttle.

Add a full stop somewhere (q) and bind shift+wasdrf to thrusters and you are set.

The non inverted WS pitch goes naturally with your mouse pitchm and yaw on mouse mimics its movement better and helps a lot with aiming.
