You've really outdone yourself with the new patch Frontier.

After a 6 hour download (since my internet speed is awful) I logged on and messaged my friend Mosaico and asked if he wanted to get into fighters and go sit on a RES and mess around for a bit.

About 10 minute later I was sitting in my favourite High RES when Mosaico dropped in in his Conda' and deployed his Fighter, Then, both in our Taipans (The best fighter ofcourse!) started shooting up whatever our scanners picked up - Then we decided to get some spinning action on the go and rammed into each other at 500m/s, And boy you don't know fun until you're doing a full roll every 1/10 of a second.

We were laughing our asses off like school children all night - Fighters are the best thing that has happened to this game for me, It was probably the most fun i've gotten out of Elite so far!

So i'd just like to thank you Frontier, in my 300+ hours of playing Elite i'm having more fun than i could have hoped for!

I have to agree I picked up my first crew member last night and what fun ! Even more fun letting him fly my corvette
although now I can see what my wingmates complain about as its such a huge hulking mass (The Iron Slipper). Smacked into
me in my taipan a couple of times and wiped my shields. I need to take more care.

This is one of the first big upgrades I can see me really getting into, he's already 50% on his way to Master .

Thanks FDEV - the largest list of features and fixes ive seen in years in one go and only a few CTD's when i turned up the
supersampling above 1.0 (looks like a GPU mem leak/issue).

Yep same here.... it was fun just contracting a rookie and leveling her up. If they could add some more dialog and personality to the crew personel, that would be even better. The SLF does an impressive amount of damage too. Bounty Hunting just became much more interesting.
