Zachary Hudson Becomes the New President of the Federation

It's official now. Beta tester knew it due to the PP display showing Hudson as president, and I was wondering: "when did that happen"? So it has been made official now.
Now I am wondering whether the fact that it reaches Galnet means PP will be released very soon?

PowerPlay was always going to be realised very soon, but the debs don't know when as it is in the testing phase, the time to release depends on how many bugs are found and how long fixes take, it could be released tomorrow or two weeks from now. As for the news, I think it was reported now due to the spoilers, it's not really a sign of release in my opinion.

Well it looks like the Federation is certainly going to be ready for more of a power struggle. Good job the Empire has a nice stable leader, and not one who is on his death bed. Erm...
