Zoo Staff problems

I have noticed the Staff are getting very Lazy of Late, Mechanics never fix Habitats, have to call them. Food Feeding also slow.
Is this happening to others? or known as a problem.

Are they doing research? I noticed that they tend to prioritise that over everything else, so when you only have one mech or vet and let them do research as well they won't get anything else done. If that's the case in your zoo try getting one for work and one for research. Also check your work zones, that might cause long waiting times as well when they keep running from one end of the parkt to the other so they can rest or use a keeper hut etc.

Sometimes staff gets stuck. If you raise them and release them, they go on with their duties.
Last time I noticed that my staff didn't recognize one of my habitats correctly. They went in and checked it and went out, saying, everything was ok, animals not hungry (the animals were starving by that time), barrier ok (it was not). I deleted the habitat gate and built it new, then they were running in alarm lol

I think it really depends on your layout, and how many staff you have, and various other things going on, if they are trained staff or not, Ideally make sure you train them well, and use workzones, workzones are super important, don't ignore them. Make sure your not overcrowding staff with too many staff, I have seen a lot of people in sandbox mode just spam 100 staff in 1 spot thinking, if i have a whole bunch surely everything will get done, but that causes a lot more problems then it is worth, cuz if a person is gonna go to feed the tigers, then everyone else is like check to feed tiger oh someone else is checking ok wait ok they feeding tiger ok should i feed jag oh someone is feeding jag, someone is going to jag ok so lets check if- oh wait break time. :) and so you end up with a long que for staff prompts and they end up getting exhausted trying to go everywhere and then just go on break and start over.

Another thing which is not staff related, animals get a yellow hungry debuff when their food stat is still in green, so it is a bit misleading like, oh my so and so is hungry when really it isnt its just going to be hungry soon, and in most cases staff is on their way already, also sometimes animals grow up in a spot where they cant be as adults but fit as babies and it causes them in some cases to get stuck and think they are either in a small enclosure or lonely or something, simply moving them to a more open spot in the enclosure usually helps.

At least in my case it had nothing to do with all this. If was an old zoo which had run without any problems for months. And then, just after update 1.3.2 it started getting the above described problems. But - as also stated above: problems solved by deleting habitat gate.
