Zoo Tycoon Zoo tycoon questions

So does micro soft studios own the series still ?

there are 2 petitions on the net with over 2k signatures, plus all the people that havent signed that want the game on a digital platform. i dont know if its in the interest of you guys but since you made the new zoo tycoon, dont you think you can work with microsoft and revive the old classics for the fans?

You can get it on ebay, I did last year, complete with all expansions for around £5, in fact it is the complete collection version that is easy to get running. It is on CD Rom but there is no problem installing and it ran straight away with no need to do anything. I didn't need to run it through DOS box or anything. I have ran it successfully and easily on each version of windows up to windows 10! ( except win 7 - never used that )

hi, yeah that's true it is on ebay, what im saying is that we need it available digitally, like for example steam client or gog.com

I thought the main reason it was wanted on Steam was to eliminate the problems getting it running on modern PC's? If you get the Complete collection CD you will have no problems running. Most of my friends have it and all are running it with minimum fuss on their modern PC's.

What is the difference for having it on Digital rather than CD as long as you get to play the game? Apart from the chance of losing a physical copy, I never wanted to let the lack of digital copy stop me from playing it, so I took the plunge and got the Complete collection CD and never looked back. A fiver for all that pure gold gameplay was worth the three day wait in delivery. :)

Also Frontier had nothing to do with the first two original tycoon games. Blue Fang games made the first two and they closed down when their contract ended with Microsoft. It is Microsoft only who hold the license to Zoo Tycoon, Frontiers responsibility too Zoo Tycoon ended when they finished the Xbox one version. It would seem their interest has ended too with the way they treated those of us who bought their version of Zoo Tycoon.

Another source told me she was extremely busy. So who do you thing in MS i should contact ? i tried to look for emails but they dont have any?
