As an unexpected surprise my ED zoodie arrived this morning and I have to say I'm rather impressed. I'm not a fan of traditional over-the-head hoodies but when I saw one with a zip I had to give it a go.
It's not the warmest or thickest of materials so for winter clothing it's not going to be an outer layer on its own, but by the same token it's not going to be excessively warm when worn unzipped in response to those annoying light drizzles so common to British summers. So it's an all-year nerd statement.
FWIW I ordered the XXL (45-47" chest) based on a measured chest size of 45.5", and if I'm being honest it's ever so slightly oversized. I could almost certainly have got away with the XL. Just something to be aware of if you're on the lower borders of a size change and you usually err on the side of going bigger; in this case you may be better off with the smaller one.
But it's not so much of a problem that I won't keep this one. Besides, I'm 44 years old and my diet is crap. I'll probably grow into it.
The "official merchandise" plastic bag it comes in is very nice too.
