Zookeeper Animal Pack: How would you have done the roster?

You missed my quick edit.
Yeah true that and i do agree but there allways has to be a first.
Quokka and little blue penguins for example also have just one holding in europe, but itd known that the EAZA intends to build up a breeding population across multiple zoos, so they can be seen of a sign what is to come.
Ofcourse not all solo reps are like that, afterall they can also just be the last ones remaining on that continent, but especally with newer additions the first is more likly

More often than not, when it comes to Australia and New Zealand, the opposite is true - the species is on the way out. Aside from our native wildlife (for both NZ and Australia), we're very limited in what species we can actually bring in to zoos. It's a little better for Aus than for NZ, but in essence in this day and age its only species that the AZA tells us we should keep (with a handful of exceptions). I guess that's why our perceptions are different; usually if a unique species is alone in this region, not part of a wider effort between zoos, we're just waiting for it to be retired (moved overseas so the habitat can be used for something more common and AZA recommended, put off display for the same reason, or for them to eventually die off).

So here is what I would do,
Keep the Baboon, Pallas Cat, Markhor, and Andean Bear

I would make the Tortoise the anniversary animal and put the Great White Pelican in its place

I will replace the Kirk's Dik-Dik with the Reeves Muntjac and the Sifaka with the Black Howler Monkey or Fransicos Leaf Langur

Lastly add a variety of Poison Dart Frogs for the exhibits and maybe cut 50% of the scenery in this pack
