Im finding a few Zoopedia discrepancies.
I dont have a large zoo atm, so I cant say how many there are. But, one that is sticking out is the American Bison.
The pedia says that they mature at age 4. But, in game it takes till year 5. When this first happened, year 4 came, and I was thinking; "Oh great, they wont mature bug". Was about to replace the whole enclosure because of it. But, while I was thinking, and trying to come up with what animal I was going to replace them with, year 5 came along, and the bison's matured. Which would be fine, its not a big deal. But, when you rely on the accuracy of the Zoopedia to predict, plan, and build your zoo; It needs to be updated with patch adjustments/tweeking. (In case this was from the whole "time" issue, and the devs lengthening their lifespan.)
